Front Porch in the Media: Highlights from April – May 2025

Here’s a roundup of articles, news stories and media mentions that feature Front Porch or its communities, programs and services from April and May 2025.

Familiar Touch, filmed at Villa Gardens with participation from residents and staff both in front of and behind the camera, was the focus of a number of articles in advance of its theatrical release this June. McKnight’s Senior Living says the Award-winning independent film shows positive, poignant side of senior living community life with dementia. At Senior Living Foresight, Steve Moran called it More powerful than you can imagine, saying, “Rarely do I watch a movie where, at the end, I find myself profoundly disappointed that it is over and wishing for another 30 minutes or hour.”
