Walnut Village, located in Anaheim, CA is searching for a Director of Sales and Marketing. We would like to find the right person to join our sales team. We want to hear from you if you have sales and marketing experience in the Senior Living Industry and have strong leadership skills. SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Executive Director, the Director of Marketing and Sales is responsible for the sales, marketing and public relations program for the community and achieving budgeted occupancy.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a 4-year college or university; or 1-2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

At least two years of sales and marketing experience in the Senior Living Industry with proven results. Must have excellent verbal, written and organization skills and be computer literate. Ability to be a strong leader, team player and obtain results is required.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: Supervises Sales and Marketing Staff. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the company’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Final candidates must successfully complete a pre-employment physical, physical abilities test, drug screen and Department of Justice Criminal background clearance.
