The impact of creativity in our work and our daily lives shows up in so many ways—changing our perspectives, our relationships, our ideas about ourselves and the way we see the world. At Front Porch, we use creativity as a tool, a lens and an important means of bringing people together.

The Market Day program brings fresh produce markets to senior living communities and other neighborhood settings where individuals might not otherwise have access to farmers’ markets. Staffed by volunteers, the pop-up markets feature fresh fruits and vegetables plus plenty of opportunities for socializing.

This program connects community members seeking housing with older adults who have extra space in their homes. Each match is personalized with the process overseen by program staff—at no cost to participants. Home Match benefits everyone. It decreases isolation, provides housing security, and above all, builds community.
