Six Front Porch communities are on Newsweek’s list of America’s Best Continuing Care Retirement Communities 2025, which recognizes 300 CCRCs in the United States. The communities listed are Kingsley Manor in Los Angeles; Villa Gardens in Pasadena; Sunny View in Cupertino; Carlsbad By The Sea in Carlsbad; San Francisco Towers in San Francisco; and Claremont Manor in Claremont. The list is based on national online survey results; visitor satisfaction scores; accreditation scores; and Google reviews.

Realtor.com lists Wesley Palms, one of Front Porch’s San Diego-area communities, among its 10 Top-rated senior communities with phenomenal food, saying, “There’s a culinary emphasis here—villas have well-designed and appointed kitchens, and many have garden areas where residents can, and often do, grow their own organic herbs and veggies. They frequently hold culinary events and classes and provide transportation to local events that feature fine food.”

The Coast News shared information about Front Porch Gallery’s new exhibition The Journey of Life Through Vision and Verse, which runs through December 27th. The article also explores the many benefits of engaging in creative activity, quoting Front Porch Gallery Director Cathy Carey: “‘You don’t need to identify as an artist to enjoy your creativity,’ Carey said. ‘The exhibitions we are creating at the Front Porch Gallery are meant to stimulate our community through creative engagement by discussing, viewing and making art.’”

The Claremont Courier shared information and photos from Claremont Manor’s 75th anniversary celebration.

Senior Housing News reported on the Brain and Balance Center that launched at Carlsbad By The Sea this year, as well as Front Porch’s plans to expand this model to other communities with the support of the Front Porch Center for Innovation and Wellbeing.
