2024 Impact Report illustrates how Front Porch lives out its goals and values

The 2024 Front Porch Impact Report is now available. The 12-page brochure provides “a sampling of the ways that Front Porch has made a difference during the 2024 calendar year,” writes Sean Kelly, CEO. “I’m excited to share what we’ve accomplished this year and to see what more we can do together in the year to come.”

Each section of the Impact Report is focused on one of Front Porch’s four strategic goals: Build Culture, Develop Leadership, Drive Performance and Achieve Growth, drawing examples from throughout Front Porch’s communities and programs.

Readers can learn about some of the more than 120 community partnerships that build connections beyond Front Porch’s walls. For example, the Front Porch Center for Innovation and Wellbeing partnered with Embodied Labs and CalGrows to use virtual reality training to help more than 10,000 family caregivers experience what it’s like to live with dementia, vision or hearing loss, or other challenges of aging. And through the participation of dozens of members of the Front Porch team on boards, committees and training programs throughout the field of aging, Front Porch has impact on our sector now and in the future.

Within Front Porch’s communities, the report highlights some of the Green Initiatives that help not only the individual community, but the environment. And it celebrates some of our communities’ significant anniversaries – including Casa de Mañana’s 100th.

The report also provides a snapshot of the work of our Community Services programs, including Shared Housing and our Creative Engagement programs. It also highlights our Connection programs, which in 2024 provided more than 4,000 participants across 6 countries, 49 states and the District of Columbia with more than 5,000 group meeting hours and 11,382 hours of one-on-one friendly visiting.

Although it only offers a glimpse into the work being done across Front Porch, the Impact Report provides insight into the values that drive this organization and the extent of its reach. The stories it shares illustrate the commitment of each individual, program and community to live out Front Porch’s core values: Connect, Build Trust, Collaborate, Lead Responsibly, Inspire Creativity, and Embrace Change.

The report ends by promising there will be more to come in the future: “As we look ahead to new developments in the years to come, we remain committed to continuous improvement, innovation and creative solutions to enhance the quality of life of those we serve now and in the future.” To read the Impact Report, visit https://frontporch.net/impact.
